check engine light

just done an oil and filter change on my 04 sti
now i have read you should pre fill the filter and crank over the engine without starting until oil pressure builds up ( please dont reply telling me its a waste of time etc, as better to be safe than sorry and only takes seconds to disconnect sensor)
i removed multi plug below the alternator cranked over engine till i had some pressure then reconnected and started the engine.

the engine is running fine but the cel light is on, does anyone know if it was caused by disconnecting the sensor and will it go out on its own?
thanks

Start and switch off the engine 4 times to turn off the light.
