Why so cynical? What matters is they recognise and honour service man. Look at it another way, its 100% discount :thumb:

Pretty common in the USA for business to permanently offer discount for Forces and Veterans.

So they can't do right for doing wrong!!!

They're offering free meals to any present member of the armed forces or veterans....this should be applauded.

If only other companies could do the same.

:)

It's also a very clever business decision.

We all know the guys in the forces like a drink or 2 so they will receive a free meal and wash it down with plenty of drink

:)

But that doesn't make it a bad thing.

At the end of the day they're a business and they have to make money.
Okay it's a small offering, a free meal, but it sends out a positive message to our Armed Forces.

True, but I still think that companies do these things for the wrong reasons ie their profits. They would be far better off giving a percentage of their takings from all of their customers rather than advertising something that will benefit very very few.
