Might sound like a dumb question but I'm gonna ask it anyways... ;)
The insurance company I am with know that I am gonna ditch them when my current policy runs out, but they entitled me to 6 yrs NCB even though I had only been driving in MY name for 2. However, they say that they are gonna release my NCB status as 6 yrs ... Q : Do I say when I ring around for new quotes that I have 6 yrs NCB or still only 2 ??? Hope someone can help .... Sal. |
Hi Sal
I had the same situation when I renewed recently. If your old insurers will provide written proof that you have 6 years NCD then your new insurers will accept this, so yes get quotes for 6 years NCD. If you have a standard UK car have you tried http://www.eaglestar.co.uk They were very competitive and I went with them in the end. Neil. |
Thanks Neil, will definitely give eagleStar a go !!!

They don't like 'young drivers of high insurance category cars ' ... :( :( so no doing from them.

Oh well, worth a try.
Does that mean at 35 I'm an old driver! |
Not old ... maybe mature, experienced, less impulsive and all that blah-dee-blah - at least in the insurer's eyes anyways ! ;) :D :D
