Late rooms

Was looking for a cheap hotel to stay in in leeds on friday as me and a mate are djing again for digital society :D

Usual cheap hotel Etap was £44 up from £38 so found laterooms.com on the web. Found a nice place called the Discovery inn which is usually £65-75 on a Friday. Got a room for £35 and discounted parking for the Luftpanzarwagen too. :)

Some are maybe aware of it but this is a heads up for those who aren't :D

Use this a lot but it's always worth going onto the sites/checking prices with the hotels as I've found them actually more expensive than going direct sometimes

Booked 100s of rooms through laterooms and get cashback through Quidco as well. Never had a problem.

Always check direct with the hotel as sometimes booking.com and laterooms can be more expensive as they charge very high comissions to the hotel. Some places don't include breakfast on laterooms bookings so they can charge you 10-20 pounds per person to make up for the extra comission they have to pay for online booking.

Yeah what I did was do the search on laterooms.com and then went to the website. Same price both times. Definitely useful if you're looking for a cheap rate at short notice.

If possible book direct with the hotel. Those bookings companies are effectively sucking the life out of the hotel trade and killing the smaller hotels.
