Whats the best place to get a set of clear front indicators and side repeaters?? Cost?

Do they need declaring to insurance?

P.S - Anyone know how to remove the horrible orange grill thing from under the front indicator on a MY99, and should I leave the gap empty or do something with it?

Scoobysport gave me mine ... can't remember the price.
Get the yellow gills colour coded.

ScoobySport/Scoobymania/Power Engineering/MRT/DR Motorsport. About £90 ish for both fronts and repeaters.

Pling it out with a screwdriver, possibly put a rag round the screwdriver to protect the paint - takes seconds.

If you do a search, there are reams written about both subjects.....

DON'T USE A SCREWDRIVER!!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif

Just unscrew the front indicator and pop your fingers inside and push out the two little clips holding them in place.

As to painting them, I used Halfords black plastic paint in a aerosol can on mine, quick and simple. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

ScoobyJawa,

Used a screwdriver and a bit of card to get mine out - takes a steady hand though!

Like Tim, I used an aerosol - Hammerite black satin finish. It took loads of coats to cover all of the orange though - but looks cool when done. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Oh, and I got my side repeaters from Demon Tweeks and indicators from Scoobymania - can't remember prices though, sorry

Matt
