A spec list would help, that way we can all keep an eye out for parts etc.
Sad thing is, it's probably in bits now.

wrx287 12 June 2011 10:43 AM

That shouldnt be too hard to spot. Hope it returns safe and sound. A lot of time and money gone in to that.

topshot 12 June 2011 10:46 AM

Pikeys camp at wellingboro, more than likely stipped for parts. Wouldnt be the first time

tell me about it, our crop spray/toyota hilux got stolen, we had to go in there to photograph it. just the chassis left

Mikej857 12 June 2011 11:51 AM

and they say they get negative press for no reason!!! Yeah right.

Its bad though that at an organised event something like this gets stolen

prob stolen to order and in bits by now, a spec list might help catch the scum if parts come up for sale

gutted for you

Apparently it was spotted 30 mins after being stolen being driven in Olney, then later in Milton Keynes. Olney is only 15 mins from the pod and the car was being driven like it was stolen.

birchy2010 12 June 2011 01:19 PM

That video is crazy. Boldly driving such a car down the motorway.

tony de wonderful 12 June 2011 01:30 PM

On the M25

Saalro 12 June 2011 01:36 PM

I saw it in Dedworth by blockbuster, Windsor, about 8:45pm.

It was either heading down Clewer Hill Road or Wolf Lane. I think it was Wolf Lane though.

Had plates on too.

Hope you find it, i wish i knew then, i would have called the police there and then and followed the prick.

Thanks
Sam

mylilscooby 12 June 2011 01:56 PM

has anyone got a index for this car or does in not have one?

adam knight 12 June 2011 02:18 PM

according to a freind i was talking to on fb the police have been chasing it in kent not sure how true this is mind

birchy2010 12 June 2011 02:23 PM

Kent police have denied there been a chase. A dw member has confirmed a sight at 9-9:30 this morning in Windsor of it.

Ste RB5138 12 June 2011 03:26 PM

I really hope it is found in one piece, I cant believe they have the nerve to steal it at a big public show.

MattyB1983 12 June 2011 03:52 PM

The car has not been seen since last night in Windsor. It will be tucked up somewhere now either in bits or it will be out on the road tonight.

Kirstiestar 12 June 2011 04:45 PM

If they know whats good for them, they wont bring it out at all now. Far too much publicity on it.
Really hope this gets returned in one piece, although as sad as it is, its doubtful :(

Boosty 12 June 2011 07:08 PM

Very sorry to hear. No idea why pollice cudnt have found this if they had its position at any point. I'm guessing it may get sprayed and put on replica plates. If some kind of spec could be put up that would help. Don't think at this stage it would still look like it did before, wheels changed, stickers removed, resprayd maybe? Do you guys think it would stay local? Need to push for a bit of press for this
