Bruce Forsyth knighthood
|
Well deserved
|
Nice to see it...
:D |
Used to like him until I actually came across him whilst working at Wentworth and he is an ignorant , arrogant man , nothing like his TV persona.
Chip |
Not my favorite person. However well deserved, always wondered why he had been over looked yet other nobodys had been given them.
Like the girl who use to be in Eastenders .... ?? |
Brucie is a total ledge! This is long overdue, and much deserved!

Harsh, but true. |
Having the misfortune of knowing what he's really like - I'm totally with Chip - bloke is an ar$ehol3.
|
Doesn't seem 5 minutes since the whole family used to watch the Generation game on a Satuday night, there were only 3 channels and fcuck all else on. :)

I know he is a very capable entertainer, but I fail to see how that can justify a knighthood.

Les Less Celebrities more Heros please. |
Knighthoods, you had a look at how many Lords have been made in the last year by the polictical elite.
Bruce Forsyth and other celebs got paid massive for their roles, mostly by the TV licence paid by you and me. Deserving, not at all. He was there for fame and fortune which he was paid. Knights were meant to do a role of protecting and leading. Bruce would fail badly on these for me, his high kick may take an eye out though |

. As for both Ronnie Barker and Corbett , now there are a pair of gentleman. Corbett whom we met on a golf course and Barker when we were working near a place I think was called Chaddington where he lived. He stopped every single day on his way to his antique shop in Norton. Chip |
Maybe he has done a lot of charity work, if so then I can understand the award.
