Slugs in house
 

Filthy horrible things keep appearing in the kitchen, any ideas as to how to rid us of them, found one on my cereal bowl the other day, final straw !

Can't think how they are getting in. They aren't very nice I agree.

Put salt down anywhere near you think they may get in

Go out either late evening or early morning when they tend to be out and about. Pick them off one by one and cover with salt. Job done.

Chip

They search for moisture. The usually get in under the door or up through holes where pipes are. I used to have this issue, salt or slug killer along border of the door and keep house dry as best as possible otherwise buy a cat :p.

We get them in the kitchen too, huge great big beige coloured spotted ones. They are sooo rank looking, if you look closely at them they are covered in tiny little mites all running around over their body!

First time I ever saw them was when my mrs' gave birth and I came home about from hospital about 3am, turned the kitchen light on and there were 4 or 5 of them eating the cat biscuit.

I ripped my kitchen out to fit a new one and found loads under the cupboards, the just hide in there until night time and come out. I've no idea how they got in as they were massive and I don't have any gaps about.
