I once had a go in a MI16 converted 205 GTI running approx 230bhp, that was manic so what on earth one with 700 ponies would be like.

I had my old manta built by D&J motorsport and their demo car (Dave's wife's car!) was a 205gti using 4x4 cosworth running gear at about 300bhp. Went like sh*t off a shovel!

On topic, there's a G-plate 205GTi for sale in Scunorpe, £1000, think it's a 1.9 and in graphite grey too - I'm soooooooooooooo tempted :D
