Eibach Rear Camber Adjustment Bolts
In fitting a bunch of suspension goodies today, the last job was rear camber bolts. The stock pin I noticed contacts the inner bushing along its entire length. The camber bolt just on its insertion
This arrangement didn't sit comfortably - is it OK? Thanks https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Q...0/P1000953.JPG |
That;s how it's meant to be, can be a wee bit tricky to fit.. fine once nipped up tight.
IMHO dunx |
So this is what everyone uses?
I'll take 'em down in the morning when having the geo done and get them fitted |
Everything you ever wanted to know about proper camber bolt fitting:

my 99MY uk turbo seems to have camber bolts (fronts atleast)fitted as std,and they appear much more robust then the Eibach/whiteline items, I've read (on a US forum) that camber bolts were OE in some markets or some models, if so why bother fitting aftermarket if a OE part is available?

When installed and adjusted properly, they hold fine. I've never had one slip when installed properly. However, if you don't install them properly, they will slip and throw your camber off. These can also be used in the lower front holes to add more negative camber than what the single OE bolt is capable of. A bit finicky to adjust but worth it if you don't want to use camber plates. |
Is it exactly the same bolt used for fronts Arnie?

Yup, but you run them in the lower holes. If you run them, make sure they (the lower bolts) are set and adjusted properly to prevent slippage. I usually max the lower bolt out on neg camber and use the upper bolt to fine tune.
