The recent documentary is on bbc2 now, well worth a watch

Very good so far.

Grohl's a true talent and comes across very well.

The interview is brilliant, even if you aren't a fan of the band. Really interesting, funny and sad at times too.

It's very funny.

A great insight into the music I've been listening to for years.

Didn't see it, working :(

Was it when JP Jones and Jimmy Page joined him on stage and he was like an 8 year old in a sweet shop, just with added swearing, I swear he was p1ssed up that night :)

Dave Grohl is a massive talent, he has a hand in writing and directing a lot of the foo's vids, and he comes across as a thoroughly nice bloke.

I'll have to check the iplayer later :thumb:

No, he was talking about the run up to Wembley. He was like an over excited child and genuinely didn't seem to understand how big they had become. He kept waking up with cold sweats screaming excitedly "I'm playing Wembley!!!"
Very funny, and a genuine moment.

Yeah really enjoyed it, have been playing their music all morning :)

I loved their approach to recording on tape in the garage with the Nevermind producer.

Went to see it at the cinema where they played the new album right through as well. Really quite good, went to both dates at wembly and off to see them at the mk bowl

Watched this last night on iplayer. It was really insightful and a pleasure to watch but boy how Dave Grohl crushed the soul of the original Foos drummer, and how deceitful was he in trying to get Pat Smear back in the band behind Chris Shiflett's back?! Not all Mr. Nice Guy.
