Thanks cool.

I've just raced this circuit on the PS3 game "F1 2010" and the accuracy of the game is amazing. After a session of practice, qualifying and then the race I actually knew what bend was coming next watching that video! :lol1:

Interesting to see,was wondering why he was pumping the throttle on the bends.

Jenson Button the man who had the best car and norrowly beat Ruebens Barrichello, who in turn could not hold a touch to Mr Schumacher in the same car. Doesn't say much for button when you think about it...

I have to say that he was trying to get on the power earlier and it works, I don't agree with Jackie Stewart that you only apply the power when you don't need to back off, if you've braked too early you can build speed without unsettling the car to a certain degree. I use this technique and I love it.

Maybe it says he and Rubens got equal equipment whilst Ferrari were Schumacher's team.

Not absolutely correct in the case of Senna actually. Senna used the throttle to help steer the car in a corner. Not so much getting the power on early as using it all the way through the corner and balancing the car on the limit of adhesion using the oversteer to 'feather' the car round the corner as well as well as input to the steering. If you can find some of his telemtetry and overlay it with that of his teammate you will see he is on and off the throttle all the way through a corner where as the more conventional driver is a lot smoother (but not as fast).
