I have an annoying problem with my passenger side front window on my00, the window does not close correctly when the door is shut but on opening the door it spings back into the correct place and is ok then when the door is shut again. I only noticed this problem today so I removed the door panel to have a look what was going on but could not see the problem. Any advice please.

Cheers

mine does that too - strange - I assume that when the door is closed and closing the window - when the window goes against the seal the seal is making enough pressure to stop the motor. But then I don't understand why opening the door makes the window jump up about 1/2 a centremeter...

The windows are slightly out of alignment and heading into the door seal at a greater angle than normal, the windows need adjusting to stop this, don't know how this is done but both my turbo and sport b4 needed doing, they go out of alignment by people shutting the door by the window.

Cheers Chaps for your help, will get some graphite tommorow from halfords and try that first. Seems a common problem. As for adjusting the window there are two bolts under the miosture barrier to adjust the height and angle the window stops at I had a play about with these this morning but did not have the enough time to finish the job.
