Don't know how/if you can adjust it ,but -have you got correct tyres size on your car ? as this would affect what you speedometer shows :)

Mine does not shake, but it is 10mph out, so i'd like to know the solution as well if at all possible..

I presume it's an import that has been converted like mine.

Speedos mostly read 10% too high, it's to stop you getting pulled for speeding when your speedo indicates all is ok

mine is the opposite,
speed shows 28 mph I am doing 30 mph
shows 45mph im doing 50mph
shows 60mph I am doing 70mph

Mine is a wrx import so I am guessing it is something to do with converting to mph

Or you have the wrong size wheels?

Dazza9t9 06 June 2011 12:57 PM

I have 17inch alloys with a tyre wall of 40

CREWJ 06 June 2011 01:04 PM

On a Classic? Then that sounds fine.

Dazza9t9 06 June 2011 01:10 PM

Yeah its a Classic. It has been the same since I got it.

When I changed the wheels I went from a 45 side wall to a 40. That made little to no difference.

thats why I think it is the mph conversion
