LED light flashing problem...???

2007 hawkey STI Heres the problem..when i arm the system the LED flashes:

8 dim flashes
16 seconds nothing
3 bright flashes
16 seconds nothing

9 dim flashes
16 seconds nothing
9 dim flashes and so on....

but the operating instructions say when it's armed it should be :

flashes dimley for 15 seconds (alow for air movement to settle)

flashes brightly for 15 seconds (for ultrasonics to go active)

after 32 seconds it should flash dimly (i take it should flash constantly)

Anyone know why this is happening to my system, also when disarmed the LED flashes brightly, is this normal..?

Apart from this the alarm works fine.....

To be honest Lee i would leave it as it works ok it could be the LED voltage sender on the board that is playing up or just the led
