CREWJ 01 June 2011 12:38 PM

jd5217 01 June 2011 12:51 PM

corsa + 400000 euros :D

jaygsi 01 June 2011 12:54 PM

Ha ha that spolier can't be standard, please tell me it isn't

Allan 01 June 2011 01:12 PM

As per the Greer Sport site, it's WRC panelled, it's not a genuine WRC. If it was it would be £200K+

Does look very nice though.

jaygsi 01 June 2011 01:15 PM

Am i the only person to think that looks like its been drove in halfords backwards

Perhaps that's where Prodrive went wrong towards the end, they were getting parts from Halfords :)

Still think it's the best look for this generation car.

I take it that "panelled" they mean stuck on with superglue.... The rear wide body does not look good from the back.

Not even close to a wrc car........ tut tut!!!!

Did you think that of the actual rally cars?

dazdavies 01 June 2011 02:07 PM

There's feck all WRC about that car apart from a body kit that loosely resembles the WRC one.

That said its still a nice looking car.

joz8968 01 June 2011 02:11 PM

You want real ex-WRC's? Then cream over these classifieds:-

Subaru WRC Spares

Love that WRC98. :luvlove:

baz995 01 June 2011 02:13 PM

Although certainly not pukka, it's a clever 'visual trick' to do when retaining the TMIC. Plus a good safeguard against overheating...

Looks the same to me.... Exactly why I chose not to go widebody, the rear add on panels look horrendous!!

RA Dunk 01 June 2011 04:37 PM

It is a nice car but there is very little 'WRC' happening under the bonnet, some poor person with little knoweledge will end up buying it thinking it's a genuine WRC car when it's clearly not!

TonyBurns 01 June 2011 04:40 PM

Totally agree with you Dunk, the advert is very misleading, tbh its a standard car with a dodgy (losing power no doubt) induction kit fitted, the suspension and AP's are nice and well the body kit... but its not worth that sort of cash for a 2001 JDM STI that is advertised as a wrc car, Daz also has it totally right, absolutely nothing in common with a WRC car, and some poor sucker is going to fall for it when they could actually have a decent (much newer) JDM for that money.

Tony:)
