RAM Advice

crucial.com told me to go with:

4GB, 204-pin SODIMM, DDR3 PC3-1060 x2 as 8GB allowed max

I don't understand the PC31060 etc. I don't need to to be honest...

Just need to know if its the best stuff? If not then I do need to know I guess:thumb:

Thanks

Crucial memory is usually pretty good. We've bought terabytes of the stuff from them over the years and only ecountered 1 dodgy module - that was replaced. We use their matching service to look for ram and it's never been wrong for us, so if they say it's correct it probably will be.

What operating system you have W7 or XP,32bit or 64bit,you are planning upgrading OS,you are playing games, you are using Photoshop etc.?

Second depends on your Motherboard, how much will take too.

From this you should think how much memory you are need.

Personally i would buy memory from eBuyer or Novatech Corsair XMS-3.
