2.2 stroker kit performance

I want to build a minimum 450/450 scooby. I've read loads of forums etc and I was going to buy a forged 2.5l block plus mods. Total cost around £3-4k.

I have the opportunity to change my 4 door WRX for a sorted 3 door Sti type r hopefully without adding a lot cash to the deal.

With this in mind, I thought that I could mod the standard closed deck block with a stroker kit. What power could I expect from the stroker kit running in a closed deck block with supporting mods. I've been looking for info but can't find anything??!!

Cheers for any help and advice.

The Type R does not have a closed deck block though.

All depends on what turbo you use

AFAIK there is no 2.2 stroker kit either, what you end up with is a 2.125 or something like that, so the whole 2.2 stroker kit is a bit of false advertising really.

reliable minimum 450/450 in a classic for £4K, good luck with that one. 6 speed will cost you 2.5K alone.
