Smoke from exhaust manifold

Hi guys I have a 94 WRX import and have noticed that when the car has fully heated up it starts to develop smoke from the (standard) exhaust manifold. I checked under the car today for any oil or coolant leaks, but couldn't find any substantial leaks. Another thing to note was that the manifold was extremely hot compared to the up pipe etc. would this indicate a leak in the exhaust etc?

Any info or past experiences would be greatly appreciated!

run u hand along the edges of ur rocker cover coz if its leaking oil onto the manifold itll burn and not hit the floor..does the smoke smell like burning oil?
