Fitting some new ones this weekend and just wondered what the best bedding in procedure is? They are the blue pads.

Cheers

You want to get gentle heat cycles into them - don't need to go mad. So gently brake from say 50-30 about 5 times with a few minutes off the brakes in between. Then say 70-30 a little firmer and gradually build things up - you should feel the stopping power improve gradually. Everyone has their own method - speeds are approximate - ideal is a quiet dual carriageway if you can find such a thing.

I would recommend caution. You are trying to put a layer of brake material on the disk. A different take on this - as recommended to me by Pete Croney, would be very light braking for 100 miles. Normal road braking for another 100, and then build up to full monty breaking by the end of the 3rd 100. Don't just chalk up motorway miles, as they don't count.
