Anyone going to the Jim Clark Rally this weekend?
 

Went back in 1999 when I first got my Scooby (eek....12 yrs ago!).

12 years later, want to take my son on Friday night, but my memory of the event isn't so good!! The stages on Friday night are in Bothwell and Abbey St Bathans.....anyone know the best points to be at?

Anyone going?

Sorry but can't help with the Friday stages :(

I've always just hung around the Langton Mill Water Splash and watched the cars try and get their power down on the newly soaked road as they exit the river but the Swinton Mill crossroads is a much speedier affair when IIRC there is a slightly 'diagonal' line taken over a set of crossroads by the drivers. A friend of mine Al Logan (a co-driver) would always recommend the Swinton Mill Crossroads as 'the' place to watch but I haven't been down for 7 years :eek:

I'm going for the first time this weekend, thanks for the tip on the crossroads, I've found it on a map.

Actually ended up in the village of Eccles which was really good.
