Sound deadening removal.

I'm in the process of removing mine and it's not as clean looking as i would have hoped due to the tar nicely stained into the sealant.

What did people do to get past this, sand it down, spray it, forget about it?

I'm half thinking forget about the black bits and half thinking sand it down and spray the cabin by myself on the cheap.

Thanks

We used flasks of liquid nitrogen... deadening cools faster than surrounding body and just pops off cleanly with no trace !! makes wicked sounds tho

I just bought some autoglym tar remover for the tar spots on the outside of my car. I think it was about £6 and was really good. It looked like it disolved and a quick wipe with a cloth and it was completely gone!

A mate has also told me that petrol does the same job, maybe worth a go?

Liquid nitrogen seems a bit expensive and so does getting dry ice, when i say expensive i mean more than using my works heat gun for free and some white spirit i already ha.

Thanks
