That's the one! It's part of the breather system. I have an oil catch can system and that hose is now redundant.

pinkypurkhardt 24 May 2011 05:05 PM

to be honest mate i dont know, on the blob its blanked off by subaru but on the bug i dont know where it goes or what it does lol il try and trace it to see where it goes can you see if its attached to the solenoid or is that the end that its come off or even if its not that hose? where abouts do you live mate

pinkypurkhardt 24 May 2011 05:10 PM

Hi mate, yeah it's attached to the sensor end, the other was just flapping around not attached to anything! There is no pressure to it and I'm really stumped as to what it may be! Im in Macclesfield sk11 mate.

pinkypurkhardt 25 May 2011 10:17 PM

bit far to meet up and compare lol when i get chance tomorrow mate il trace where the other end goes and take a pic guessing it will be some where on the intake manifold if its a vacuum hose

pinkypurkhardt 26 May 2011 06:23 PM

also found this mate from the subaru service manual and it has no hose connected to it:wonder: and its for the bug not the blob lol not had chance to check mine yet as its pissing it down here at the moment
