Identify my DV?

Just wondering if anyone knows what make my DV is?

I read on here that a few are bad for imprezas so wanted to make sure it's all good.

Thats what i feared...

Is it worth changing it? If so does anyone have any they would recommend?

It's rubbish mate, certainly not a HKS.
It will be messing with the fueling too. If your going to have a VTA get a decent one and get the AFR's checked as well.
It looks a nice looking RA (i love um in white) it would be a shame to kill it.

get the standard one on the car, it looks like a gfb to me. (as I already told you the other day ;) )

iirc you're year car needs a twin spring.

Tredy 24 May 2011 07:31 PM

It does resemble a gfb but i looked at their DVs and it definately isnt.

It can have a new shiny one when ive got some pennies haha

Jamo 24 May 2011 09:31 PM

get a standard one, proven to be better for the car :thumb:

ive made an offer on this ;)

Its not the one in the ebay picture,it is an early gfb dumpvalve from a few years ago.Not very loud and as stated previously above far better to stick the std plastic recirc valve back on.Nothing to be gained by fitting that or any other dv ,unless your car is mapped for it imho.

Jamo 26 May 2011 10:06 AM

I had a good close look at it yesterday and the seals are shagged so its going to have to be replaced. something tells me it wont be standard recirc he goes for. I might have one actually sam, ile check when it stops raining.

Definately going to be changed, and yeah youre right i fancy an aftermarket one, not sure what yet though..

A down pipe with a sports cat is next on the list.

Bailey, ewwww! Wouldn't touch one with yours Jamo old bean lol
I ran a Forge for 2 and half years with zero issues and the customer service is second to none.
I am now dv-less and it is a lot smooth on the change and the chatter is awesome.
