Bug Eye Morrette hid
which set do i need for my buge eye morrettes?
Don't do it.
Projectors are the way forward. The H4 HID is a b@stard contraption, no-one should use them. Awaits BOB5/Aztec to come on and tell us that HIS HIDs cure all the iherent problems of Subaru lights:rolleyes: But then, he's SELLING isn't he? |
i dont get this i have morrettes with h7 hids and the headlights have the projector dome in the head light, i have no problems and i have come from having the jdm sti type light and not dissapointed if any thing i love the look of the morrettes,an improvment over the standard units, just my opionion...steve

If the Morettes don't use H4, then you could be right. I was under the impression they did.
as far as i know a h4 will fit but h7 do aswell
Not possible. H7 is a single filament bulb, H4 is a twin.
as above my ones also have h7 bulbs in with hid conversion and they are very good. def not h4 they would not fit
Ah...my mistake then.
I am not a fan of H4 HIDs, as many on here will know,:D but the single filament bulbs, (H7, H1, H3 etc), work well. |
Hi
My husband has just fitted my new H7 hid set to my Moretts yesterday afternoon they are just in the outer dome bits. The Moretts with original non hid's were a bit under powered for back road night driving for my liking ;). If i wanted hids in the inner ring of the Moretts I would need another set of H1 hids . As i have knackerd my ankle i wasnt able to test them out on the road last night but will try and drive tonight and let you know how they are:) I hope this helps :) |
See if you can get some pics: for best results a camera with a manual setting is needed........
Good advice folks will price up h7 and h1 then
Sorry i have still not been able to drive so will try take pics tonight.
