I want my car to pop and bang like anti lag
Hello, I wanting to remap my Subaru gc8 STI because I’m told that re-mapping is the safest option if I want my car to pop and bang like anti lag, I would like to know, (1) how much it would cost me? (2) Could I use my stock ECU? (3) and where do I take my Subaru for a remap? [the Subaru is 350bhp 1993 sti]:cry:

Surely if your car is running what you say "350bhp" then that would suggest to me that its already been remapped.

The best way for your car to pop and bang, is a gallon of petrol and a match. :D :D :D

They never made an STI in 1993, the earliest was 1994 for an original one, but as above, is your car already running 350bhp and you want more? (its already pushing its limits) and pops and bangs, well if the police want to pull you they can, they are annoying and can be classed as anti social, so if you get reported be warned!

Best way if u want it to pop and bang like anti lag is get anti lag lol plus it can't be running that power on standard ecu have you had it on rolling road or did the guy you got it off tell you it was 350?

bro just get a gems ecu and have the car mapped, i dont think its running 350bhp not on a wrx slanty top mount anyway.. get an sti intercooler and some breathing mods and just enjoy it :)

Anti lag is not something you would want to run on the road. Not just from the ridiculous noise it makes, but for the low speed drivability. Not much fun.

i havnt had any drivability issues with mine lol but it does wear off.. untill you find a tunnel or tall buildings lol, but yeah its way too hot.. police will be after you in no time.

It may be the combination of AL and a paddle clutch. Either way, the AL keeps the revs higher than needed, so everything judders at low speed.
It's also so loud, that you look like a proper tit on the road. |
Agree with the above , I have it on the wr1 and to say it gets a little tedious is a under statement.......it's a fooooookin joke
