hi guys im brent from camborne cornwall and new to scoobys and just bought 95wrx ,but has been a bit abused,problem is car runs fine when cold but once up to temp ,it has an almighty misfire at about 5600rpm has anyone got any ideas whats causing this???also are there any other members in my area many thanx brent:(

plugs
coils
leads
split in vaccum pipe mate many many more sorry

it is a strange one lol when it misfires its almost like you have hit the limiter,but if you keep your foot down it will sort of clear,also it had a burst header tank when i got it ,one of
those plastic ones .but ive now changed it for a metal one. any more sugestions please

This is just a stab in the dark but I was wondering if you're using v power in it.
I've seen quite a few people trying to chase down a miss when using low octane fuel.
