Cleaning Newage Sti inlet manifold.
 

The outside of my inlet manifold needs cleaning as its starting to look a bit grubby. What cleaner do you advise using as I know that the classic Sti,s crinkle finish was prone to flaking off when washed. Thanks Steve.

Autoglym Engine and Machine cleaner, worked a treat on my civic type r rocker cover which had similar paint ;)

Thanks Gazzy, I,ll try that. I used to own a Sti 4 with flaking paint so I,m trying to be careful. :thumb: Steve.

If you want to be careful I would recommend using a All Purpose Cleaner (APC) which can be diluted down from 2-1 right up to 10-1. Its great for cleaning the whole engine bay, Autosmart G101 is the best and very cheap.
If your interested I know a detailer who sells his own brand which is as good for only £5.00 a litre.
