You probably dont need one have you tried 5th gear with the brakes on?

Bang goes that idea then :D i have heard of people locking them up using the starter ring.

Might be worth popping up what engine it is for, there is more then 1 tool available.

The engine wasn't the original out of the car either, i bought it because it had documentation about the rebuild 16k miles ago so the internals are strong. On the engine block it says SJ20 S20C 701 04 23323 AB-71 and over the bell housing there is what looks like a serial number. do you know how to i.d. the engine? cheers carl |
