Anyone running 8.5x18 Rota Force on a Newage

If so can you post your pics here.
Very keen on this wheel but don't want to go to the extreme 9x18 due to tyre stretch/coilover and arch rolling requirements.

Cheers.....

Need offset's info :)

Suberman 22 November 2011 07:26 PM

As Rickya says, the offset will determine if you need to roll your archs.

What model do you have? MY0?

Moley 22 November 2011 07:37 PM

Very nice!

I think most 18 x 8.5 will have a 44 offset

rickya 22 November 2011 07:40 PM

I think Hardy P1's on a 35mm offset? The rest look like 44 / 45mm's

JonMc 22 November 2011 09:13 PM

They look tidy, I need a set of them with some track tyres:D

53 22 November 2011 09:24 PM

If they're 18x8.5 they will be ET48 in both 114.3 and 100, the 9"'s are ET30/27 in 114.3 and ET35 in the 100 :)

Lovely wheels especially in the limited Gunmetal Escort Cosworth

Scott.T 23 November 2011 08:40 PM

Thanks guy's, keep looking at alternatives but keep coming back to these.
I think this thread has now sealed it...cheers.....

Any photoshop expert's out there ;)

Mag's tells me 225 on the Hawk, but I would like to go 235 if possible as don't like the stretched look (maybe run some rear camber bolts if needed).

Not sure Scott, but you will need at least get your rear arches rolled for 235,but for sure i would ask Mags about this

H4RDY-P1 26 November 2011 08:04 AM

235's.

TurboAndy 26 November 2011 03:48 PM

Im running 235'S on my widetrack Spec C with no rubbing issues.

53 26 November 2011 04:02 PM

225's on the 9's 235 on the 8.5's :) IIRC :)

Scott.T 26 November 2011 10:06 PM

Cool 235's on the 8.5's it will be don't want to go 9's.
jura, the widetrack has nothing to roll under the plastic arch extension. subaru already sut the arch lip back flush.

Very interesting thread here.... any more pics about ?

I have one question regarding the Force design.... looking at one or two of the pics above I can't quite tell if the spokes are set back into the wheel or when you look down the side if the car do the spokes actually show outside the tyre wall ?

they are set back from the wheel a tad http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y20...y/IMAG0209.jpg

regarding the tyres you can run 235s but you will get rubbing if you have passengers in the back

you can solve this by running camber bolts (or removing the rear seats ):D and due to the hawk not having any material to roll in the arch you are limited to what you can do . you can make any wheel fit its just how much work you want to put in :)
