Anyone running 8.5x18 Rota Force on a Newage
If so can you post your pics here.
Very keen on this wheel but don't want to go to the extreme 9x18 due to tyre stretch/coilover and arch rolling requirements. Cheers..... |
Ignore me ;)
I'm not 100% but I think KEV has got them on his bugeye :wonder:
i have a set for my track wheels in 18/8.5 with 235/40/18 toyo r888's.lovely wheels and just right in 8.5in wide.theres a couple of pics in my garage,i'll see if i have any more for you.:thumb:
BTT to see if we can get a few more images
Any pics of these on the saloon? :)
Need offset's info :)
As Rickya says, the offset will determine if you need to roll your archs.
What model do you have? MY0? |
Very nice!
I think most 18 x 8.5 will have a 44 offset |
I think Hardy P1's on a 35mm offset? The rest look like 44 / 45mm's
They look tidy, I need a set of them with some track tyres:D
If they're 18x8.5 they will be ET48 in both 114.3 and 100, the 9"'s are ET30/27 in 114.3 and ET35 in the 100 :)
Lovely wheels especially in the limited Gunmetal Escort Cosworth  |
Thanks guy's, keep looking at alternatives but keep coming back to these.
I think this thread has now sealed it...cheers..... Any photoshop expert's out there ;) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v9...1/IMG_0411.jpg |

Mag's tells me 225 on the Hawk, but I would like to go 235 if possible as don't like the stretched look (maybe run some rear camber bolts if needed).
Jura |
235's.
Im running 235'S on my widetrack Spec C with no rubbing issues.
225's on the 9's 235 on the 8.5's :) IIRC :)
Cool 235's on the 8.5's it will be don't want to go 9's.
jura, the widetrack has nothing to roll under the plastic arch extension. subaru already sut the arch lip back flush. |
Very interesting thread here.... any more pics about ?
I have one question regarding the Force design.... looking at one or two of the pics above I can't quite tell if the spokes are set back into the wheel or when you look down the side if the car do the spokes actually show outside the tyre wall ? |
