thanks for that. are they any good for the odd track day?
i think the ones on there (what's left of them!) are red stuff ones... or at least, they're certainly red!

No these are not for track days,he mean Pagid OE pads, which are rubbish and very dusty.

For track days have look for PF pads(pricey, but best matey, for price contact AS Performance) or EBC Blue Stuff(these selling Aztec performance or Godspeed)

thanks Jura.

from what i've read about the bluestuff ones i'm not convinced that i shoudl get them... particularly as my calipers are the standard wrx ones which apparently drag too much and overheat the pad.

should be putting better calipers on the front soon so i don't want to go too mad on these ones.
Will have a look at the PF ones from AS performance.

If you have look here or search here, you know most people running RF pads,i've run Blue Stuff few months, nothing special great for fast road.

If budget allow get PF Pads,Ferodo DS2500 are also good matey are cheaper,in my view are better than Blue Stuff

Not sure I'd like to track it with the 2 pots, I started off with WRX 4 pots and they felt a little lightweight for the roads around cumbria and changed the disks and pads.........

Maybe better off putting the money towards a 4 pot conversion ?

Cheers

That's actually what i've been thinking... i'm looking to upgrade them anyway so it seems a bit of a waste to buy expensive pads at this stage when I could better use the money for a better setup altogether...
