My Santa pod times

I went to the pod yesterday and thought I'd share my best time with you. 13.8
This was my first run of the day & the clutch was stinking after then on my second run the clutch pedal dropped to half it's normal position:wonder:
I had to pull it up with my foot.
After this I took the start a bit easier and was hitting 14 dead until the clutch pedal done the same thing again.
Any way, great day out with plenty of scoobs there although not many on the track.

Thanks Mate. Saw yours as well. Very nice too. Loving the wheels. I was hoping to race some scoobs but never got paired up. Maybe next time.

She looks a bit different now from when you had her Kevin and yes she's hanging in there.
The guy you sold her to (Tim) who sold it to me knew what he was doing. He told me it had just had an oil change with redline oil but failed to tell me about a small oil leak coming from the usual o/s rocker cover. I didn't do a proper check of the car as I was running late for work:cuckoo: but took it on face value as she has very good service history from when you owned her.
After 3 days of ownership (and yes I still hadn't checked her over properly being on a 12hr night shift that week) I started her up at work and heard the fatal knocking on start up. I checked the oil and low and behold nothing! not a drop of oil in her. Of course I went to the nearest garage and bought some oil and after roughly 2000 miles I get a small amount of knocking on cold start up and if I hold the revs at around 3500 you can hear a small knock as well.
My next upgrade will be an STi 8 bottom end but thought I'd use her until she goes bang, but as you say she's still going strong.:)
