Number plates stolen !!!

Just had them knicked off my car this afternoon. B.astards.

Visiting my GF, so parked off the street round the corner. Noticed they did another car as well.

Probably Pikey scum.

Reported to Police, so now have to endure being stopped everytime I pass a traffic car to prove I'm the legal owner.

Pikey B.astards

Most likely will use them in a petrol drive off. Going to happen more and more now that petrol is going through the roof.

No wories though as that **** Osbourne is watching the prices like a hawk just as he said he would to ensure we all get a fair deal. :Whatever_

Anything you can do to stop this happening?

Makes sense to stick the front plate on the dash but I know you're not supposed to do this.

I read somewhere about some fancy screws that will wreck the plates if you try to unscrew them.

Don't know where you get them, though.

They'd just smash your windows to get them.

Anti theft screws

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Number-Plate.../dp/B002PLJ1KC

Don't know if they work.

They tried to knick mine in Oxford. Luckily I put them on with some 10mm bolts and washers. The front one came off in bits and they couldn't budge the rear since I bolted it and sticky tabbed it on.

Police didn't want to know though -.-

Yeah they don't want to add to the crime stats. It's retarded.

To be fair, the Police have been pretty good.

Answered phone within seconds, listened to what I had to say. Had a call back arranging a time for an Officer to come out and take a formal statement.

Given an incident number, and licence plate has been put on tag. Can't do anything more till they happen upon a car wearing my plates.

CREWJ 15 May 2011 09:45 PM

Well for me since they hadn't stolen both of them it wasn't a crime. I thought it was odd.
