bigsinky 15 May 2011 02:44 PM

yes i reckon both Rangers and Celtic would only be mid table Premier league teams if they were to join. its always seems to be 2 horse race every year in the SPL

sti-04!! 15 May 2011 02:54 PM

Glad the bigots didnt win.
Neil Lennon 'This isn't the end, its the beginning' :D

bigsinky 15 May 2011 02:59 PM

only his 1st year so i reckon he did very well. be interesting next year to see how mccoist and lennon fare. definately no love lost between them.

Jamie 15 May 2011 02:59 PM

For there's not a team like the Glasgow Rangers,
No not one, and there never shall be one,
Celtic know all about their troubles,
We will fight till the day is done,
For there's not a team like the Glasgow Rangers,
No not one, and there never shall be one,

Next season will be a different affair. Plenty of tommy twists, tommy turns & tommy burns.

dont rangers have to prequalify for the champions league - ho ho sally mcoist in charge against spurs or arsenal et al or second or third spanish team - no walt to hide behind - dont fancy his chances much

bigsinky 15 May 2011 06:11 PM

well the way arsenal played today i dont think rangers will have much of a problem. woeful doesnt begin to describe them.

bigsinky 15 May 2011 06:12 PM

and poor west ham. they will be blowing bubbles in the championship next season

I dont think so. They would be top 10 championship at best. Not good enough for the Prem.

+1

They'd be relegated from the Prem in the first season. My old man used to say back in the 70's that you'd get a Scots keeper with every box of Weetabix, they were that awful, these days you'd get a whole team free with a box

and remind us of all the great English keepers in the past few years ? ;)

Funkii Munkii 16 May 2011 12:21 PM

What has come out of Scotland ? since the 70's ?? Rough, Leighton and Gordon, I could name three English keepers still playing that are better than those 3 :thumb:

Thankfully the rumours about Utd signing Allan McGregor have subsided :D

Myles 16 May 2011 01:16 PM

Jim Leighton was a terrible keeper, just terrible.
