SKY Question

Guys

Anyone know if Sky can takeover a line thats with TalkTalk
It seems that according the to their website they can, but I've also heard from another person that Sky can only take over a BT line

Ordinarily I would ring a company directly and ask the simple question

However, if I ring Sky, I most likely will get Gupta or Dileep answering the call :(

what would scooby do 13 May 2011 12:25 PM

Request MAC from Talk Talk and Give it to Sky - migration starts.

oh and you are dealing with two companies with the worst customer services imaginable - best of luck there :D

This is my 7th week waiting for my broadband to be activated by Sky.

Their Home-move Team are BRILLIANT!:Whatever_

Hey!
Gupta can't cook curries and organise Sky's installers at the same time.
Dileep has to stir the rice all day, otherwise it'll stick and burn

You just can't leave rice to its own devices of course. And the customers would not like it either.

As said if its an ADSL line you just need the migration code.

I think that you'll find that proper Pilau is all about the stock.

My experience of sky, was that it had to be a BT phone line.

If they mess you about, which is inevitable I would say, you will need to complain. Their Scottish based customer services was ok IMO, compared to others'.

If you complain you will get some money off.

I really seems hit and miss when you can speak with Scotland customer service.
I previously had thought - Scotland in the morning, India at night.
But, I've tried ringing 9ish for the past couple of mornings, and Gupta has answered :(

I just hung up to be honest.

I also thought it had to be BT, but lots of details on SKY@s website suggest otherwise.

I have always found Scottish CS to be very helpful
