Christening invites
Me and Nat are getting our son Christened in August and I'd like to do some personalised invites. I could pay a company to do them but only really need 80 maximum to cover mine and Nats families/friends.
Does anyone know any free templates I could download, maybe change a bit and print off my own printer? Google isn't bringing much up :wonder: |
if you have microsoft office it has built in templates and online ones built in
|
Is your pikey mate from Norn Iron invited? Infact best not too, I get sea sick and don't really agree with children!:D

Hmm, just looking through that now. May be able to print multiple ones per sheet and hand write peoples names in Calligraphy writing - thanks :thumb:

Not married yet but been engaged for 3 1/2 years. Will be a simple church wedding in the village where her parents live. Will be a nice day with the emphasis firmly set on a day to remember and not a 'who's spent what' and 'look at me, I've got loads of money so must talk about it and show off'. :lol1:
Have a little 'un on the way and he/she will be christened. I am not religious in any way but was christened as a baby. So was the Mrs who does believe in god but is not church going religious. It seems the right thing to do without pushing a religion onto our child. Not really a big deal in my eyes being christened but something done by most of our families so will carry on the tradition. :) so I think Tesco crayons and cards will do just fine.... just don't tell Nat you had thi splanned a while ago. Btw... Jo is due anyday now.. well due date is 21st.. so she's now playing the waiting game :) left will never be the same agian. |
Where's my invite??

You're pretty handy with a pencil, couldn't you create your own?

I made my own for my daughters christening, I used a pastel coloured card and a fancy font and pasted a picture of my daughter in the middle. It was all done in black ink but looked really good once done. You only need an old invite to get the idea on how to word it :)

Eighty? How you gonna cater those?
