Christening invites

Me and Nat are getting our son Christened in August and I'd like to do some personalised invites. I could pay a company to do them but only really need 80 maximum to cover mine and Nats families/friends.

Does anyone know any free templates I could download, maybe change a bit and print off my own printer?

Google isn't bringing much up :wonder:

Have a little 'un on the way and he/she will be christened. I am not religious in any way but was christened as a baby. So was the Mrs who does believe in god but is not church going religious. It seems the right thing to do without pushing a religion onto our child. Not really a big deal in my eyes being christened but something done by most of our families so will carry on the tradition. :)

so I think Tesco crayons and cards will do just fine.... just don't tell Nat you had thi splanned a while ago.

Haha, I know. It's not an expensive thing, but I want the little things to be nice. Just as I'm not spending a wad of cash is not to say it won't be done properly and simply :D

Saw these guys and may just steal a layout off them as inspiration for my own design. A mate has photoshop so may get him involved for a beer (or half as I'm tight) :lol1:

You're pretty handy with a pencil, couldn't you create your own?

I made my own for my daughters christening, I used a pastel coloured card and a fancy font and pasted a picture of my daughter in the middle. It was all done in black ink but looked really good once done. You only need an old invite to get the idea on how to word it :)

Doing a finger spread buffet. Her parents are paying for the room and chipping in with other costs. They were very insistent.

EddScott 13 May 2011 09:12 AM

Happy Meal each.

I've insisted IF we get married, the guests will be served a Happy Meal each but with the most extensive cutlery set in the house.

:)
