Hello & front mister q

Hi all, I recently bought a great '05 WRX wagon through this forum, so thought I ought to say hello!

It's all good but I notice the motor for the front misters doesn't come on when I pull the windscreen wiper stork towards me. The mister on the back works fine, which presumably uses the same motor, so I'm guessing there's an electrical problem between stork and motor (or I'm not getting a fairly basic operation :wonder:). Has anyone any points to fix this?

Other than that I'm enjoying the experience quite a bit. Having driven an Integra DC2 for the last 10 years it's a very different experience (higher, grippier, lower revving!), but welcome. I can sense I might be looking for a few more horses though, it just handles what it has too weasily.

cheers

Mister? Do you mean the spray, or the wiper?

it's the sprayer which doesn't spray (actually it's the motor for the sprayer which isn't whirring as expected).

The wipers go back and forth perfectly, smearing whatever is on the screen.

Not sure about newage cars, but on mine, pulling the stalk results in a quick wipe.
Pushing the end of the stalk inwards results in a spray AND a few wipes.

hah, that's about the one thing I didn't try. Lots of pushing and pulling and twisting but no prodding.

I'll give it a go!
