i have a chip fitted in and no idea wot, can someone help, i have some rough pic's hope there help ?.

yep, thats a chip. i think your gonna struggle with that unless you read japanese. im in a similar boat with my jspeed piggyback job. i know boost has been raised to 1.1 on mine, although im using evoscan to monitor my ecu readings to keep an eye on knock.
u can remove it and re-connect the j1 resistor to revert back to the original ecu map or like me leave it in and fit a switch to flick between the 2.

Are there some chips ok to get mapped ?, it's a friends car and if not he going down the simtec route.

afaik, if under that sticker is a little window, then that chip can be flashed with a new map. nothing fancy(eg. launch control, anti-lag) just raised boost, fuel cut, 97 ron fuel etc, to account for panel and exhaust upgrades.

major sarcasm on here knows a bit about flashing chips i believe

theres an app for the i phone that will translate japanese to english as you use the camera over the writing.
