Tracker or no tracker
Hi all,
I've recently bought a 1997 subaru impreza turbo 2000, and its completely standard at the moment, was going to change the exhaust on it but was wondering about if I should get a tracker fitted first. Everyone keeps saying they're a very stealable car and I was just wondering if it was worth it as the car is only worth aprox £2k-2.5k. Should I get one fitted? or just leave it? Thanks! |
Up to you. Some insurance companies say you have to, some don`t bother.
I have one and I`d rather have one than not, the expence is in the first one with Tracker as new ones are £90 on their loyalty scheme, so worth it if your keeping the car. |
Don't bother complete waste of money IMO.
If it fails you don't know about it. Customer service is shocking for a company that is supposed to track your car  They got my address wrong! One of the biggest cons on the market. I will refuse to have this product fitted in the future. Save some cash and get a nice big yellow steering lock at least you can see that works. |
The crucial question I would ask anyone considering a Tracker is this. If your car was stolen, would you really want it back not knowing how its been treated ( I would hazard unsympathetically)
