Royal-Mint problem
My Dad Bought an expensive coin from the website and paid on the 29th of April (wedding day) the money has gone from the account and Royal Mint say it was sent by NORMAL post :cuckoo: on the 3rd of may, its still not here.
They havent exactly been very helpful. a couple of questions. 1. can we trace it, is there anyway at all to find where it is? 2. WTF did they send it by standard mail??? beggers belief. |
More to the point has your Dad actually seen the coin? The likeness to the couple is absurdly ****.

Expensive items should be sent via special delivery, which needs a signature. Keep on at Royal Mint in the meantime, in particular making sure they have the correct address and postcode and if they offer to send another make sure they send it special delivery and ask for the tracking number. |
I think he is more concerned about the £110 he has paid.
it seems absurd to me that the royal mint do not send expensive coins by special delivery? they charge enough ffs.
£110 for a Will's & Kate coin.... really??
he collects them, I wouldnt have paid that much personally.
he has a solid gold 20p piece in his collection, I wont tell you what that cost lol. |

Probably worth nearly as much as the 20p with a Scoob and a Cossie on it............to a Scoob driver.

ile give you £1 each for them. (£1.20 on ebay)
If you haven't received it and they cant prove you have, which will be impossible, get a refund.
Prefer the coins as they are now sold out of that particular set.
I think you will have to keep on at them to either get a coin or the money back. They are responsible for getting it to you.

According to the Royal mint adverts on TV you do not pay for it until you receive it and are happy with it so why was he paying upfront for it?
definatly paid for it, I also got the same set and they took the cash as soon as it was ordered.
I can make him a replica using tinfoil if he gets desperate, let me know.
