impreza turbo 2000 losing power
 
i got a turbo 2000 that is totally standard, at the start of the week i put some tesco super unleaded in as i usaully run normal unleaded and since the the car seems to have no get go and when it hits boost it seems realy flat, i am getting no check engine light which has confused me even more, plugs where done last year and car is fully serviced at dealership since new. any help would be great

on my old wrx it was simply disconnect battery and use brakes to drain any last charge, then leave it disconnected a little

Yeah. Reset it the proper way, using the green and black plugs. Disconnecting the battery does work, but doing it the proper way tests all the sensors in turn, and is the best way of doing it.

i got no fault codes at all, and there is 1 weird thing that i have noticed when i drive my car for around 30mins my exhaust seems to sound louder and thats when my power goes, i spoke to a pal and he reckons its the fuel pressure regulator pumping to much fuel through and making car lose power ad the power loss is very incosistant and can run fine 1 minute and the next flat
