Painting splitter

personally id take your car to a motor factors and get the paint mixed to match, as i believe there is 3 shades of feather white.

I recently did this to my classic.
My car is also 230 feather white and yes there are a few shades of it. Take the car to your paint supplier and get the best match you can. You'll need two cans of paint at least if your using rattle cans. I fitted the splitter before painting as the one I have (jun style) takes a bit of bending and twisting to fit. I flatted it off with a bit of wet and dry first then fitted it. Masked up the front bumper and covered the rest of the car in dust sheets. 4 good coats of primer first, then white paint (as many coats as I could with two cans, 5 I think), then 4 good coats of clear coat. Mine came up a treat, I'll get some pics up when I get chance. Just remember to apply the first couple of coats of white thinly, build it up in layers. |
Thanks guys would halfrauds be able to mix the paint

Halfords are the worst people when it comes to paint. They have many 230's. None of which actually match.
There is a very helpful paint shop in Hayes/middlesex that know what they are doing. |
