:wonder: ok.... mudflaps........ red, black or none at all ? :wonder:

RE54 03 May 2011 05:50 PM

grey or dark look good on silver.

loose the mudflaps, dont think they suit silver cars personally.

no doubt whatever colour wheel you choose it will look nice, always liked them rims.

StanS 03 May 2011 05:55 PM

I reckon dark rims as well. Mudflaps are not really for looks, they save you the cost of resprayed sides after they are pebble sprayed ! I'd go for black flaps and keep them "blacked" - rather than the "light" black (dark grey) they go.

Anger 03 May 2011 05:55 PM

Anthracite wheels with black flaps :)

B0DSKI 03 May 2011 05:59 PM

Look at my Profile pics M8. Gotta be Anthracite on a silver STi

I like that colour :thumb:

superstu55 03 May 2011 07:00 PM

I think grey looks good on a silver car but not to dark though.

Midlife...... 03 May 2011 07:04 PM

If the wheels are too dark it always makes the tyres look brown / dirty IMHO.......then they need dressing. A nice colour is "Bright Flitter", the PFF7 colour. Not too dark but definately not silver.

How about white.........is it the Rig or moley that has white / silver ?. Surprisingly nice and different :D

Black/Anthracite - lose the flaps :thumb:

BLU 03 May 2011 07:28 PM

Anthracite fella, with either black or no flaps :thumb:

Oh Ford polaris grey is a good colour choice btw, not a million miles away from the inovite grey.

Blu scoob......... are those prodrive Pff7's ?

Shaun

StanS 03 May 2011 08:38 PM

Blu scoob - looking at your last pic, if that is pebble damage, are you sure no flaps is a good idea ? :)

My classic (no flaps) was like that down the passenger side :(

I agree, I went from bright flitter to black and have regretted it ever since:

Should look even better with the turinis :thumb:

MattyB1983 03 May 2011 11:54 PM

Go with the original anthracite colour, looks lovely on the speedlines (I have the same wheels, 18's).
I have to agree on the mudflaps though, don't suit your car.

martin850 04 May 2011 08:09 AM

Go with the grey/anthracite mate will look

StanS 04 May 2011 08:33 AM

Loving the white, even on a light coloured car. All down to personal choice tho.
I'll go for white if I ever get rims re powdercoated :)

No its just dirt, the car was filthy when that pic was taken.

Abx 04 May 2011 09:21 AM

I know its a hatch and I'm biased but Antharcite Turinis do look good on a silver scoob!!

Nice contrast with the paint without making it dull.

sivo 04 May 2011 07:36 PM

what do you think to this colour ?

Midlife...... 04 May 2011 07:45 PM

Sorry, I've never liked bronze. :(

In some light it looks OK on Volk TE37's and that's about it !

Shaun

B0DSKI 04 May 2011 07:50 PM

Not a huge fan of the bronze look on anything other than white cars
