Scoobyworks & Scooby Clinic Servicing
I am thinking of using either Scoobyworks or ScoobyClinic for the servicing of my GB270 and was wondering what reputation either of these places have from members of Scoobynet who have used them.
I will possibly have a full geometry check and adjust whilst the car is there. Both are around 75 miles from where i live, so a 150 mile round trip or should i just go to a local vat registered garage. :thumb: |
Scoobyclinic know their stuff and are held in high regard. Speak to Adam who will look after you, he posts on here under the username Special X.

I have rang Adam @ Scooby Clinic and had a chat and i am booked in for next week, i will let you know how i get on. Gaz |
I`d never use Scoobyclinic again, ever, so I`d have to give Scoobyworks a try :)

OOPS! It sounds as though you had a bad experience with them, surely they would have tried to resolve any issues that you had with them? they sound clued up, polite and helpful on the phone and others have only good things to say about them, it is a shame you feel that way, have you spoken to Adz about any grievance you might have as it would surely be in there interests to keep customers happy.
Hopefully i will only have good things to say about them. Gaz |
scoobyworld for me.....great customer service and a always wanting to help you.....just do that bit more i reckon...

I can't see what the condition of a road has to do with the quality of service we offer? |
Both are great places to have work on your car ,if your thinking of having a full geom set up at the same time not sure scoobyworld do that yet but clinic do hope this helps :thumb:

We have had it re-done a couple of years ago so no problems there!
I can't see what the condition of a road has to do with the quality of service we offer? Besides as you say the road has been done anyway. |
I did not mean to start a mini war :wonder:
In any business no matter how good they are, you will never have 100% customer satisfaction, but always striving to get 100% is what makes a good company a brilliant one and i can only truly judge them on how i am treated and how well they look after my car, but as i asked the question i appreciate that you have all taken the time to reply, good or bad. I'm all booked in now, so thank you for your input :thumb: Gaz |

The Fast and the Furious
Left the house at 7.20am this morning and got to the Scooby Clinic 2hrs later, it was a real experience and the only way i can explain it is if you can imagine being on the set of "The Fast & the Furious" as there are race cars and modified cars in all stages of prep and busy mechanics and engineers all over the place, i got the tour and it would be any Subaru enthusiasts dream, they have a special engine room which is temp/humidity controlled where an engineer builds engines and an Aladdin's cave of new parts, choice of clutches, turbos, brakes, pads, air filters, dump valves, exhausts, intercoolers, roll cages, body kits, wheels, suspension bits etc, the list is massive and they also have a similar amount of used spares too (so you can have it there and then NO WAITING which can be lethal to your wallet).
I was there for a 10K service and to investigate a whirring noise coming from my rear brakes which was all sorted, plus i had a K&N panel filter fitted also, but the temptation to buy more mods is irresistible and i opted for a Whiteline 22mm ARB and alloy drop links on the rear, i would have gone for more bits had it not been for the thought of me sleeping in my car due to the misses not understanding that i had no control over the purchases as it was in my DNA :D They were all friendly fun down to earth people and i would recommend them to anyone as they all share the Subaru passion, so i am glad i went there and found out for myself. Gaz :thumb: |
Yep it's not a safe place to go as your wallet always comes back lighter than when you went in :lol1:
Very tempting places these tuning dens of iniquity :D They always look after me:thumb: |

Gaz :thumb: glad you had a good day with us. :D We hope to see you soon even if its just a social visit, we welcome people to pop in, grab a coffee and have a look around, there are always interesting projects being carried out and the rolling road is usually buzzing with something being tuned. :thumb: cheers Kev |
Hi Kev,
I may attend the Scooby shoot out later this month and if i do i will pop over and say "Hi" and i forgot to mention the rolling road setup you have as it is one of the things we observed whilst my car was being worked on. We saw a few cars put on the dyno, i think they were being re-mapped as i saw a technician with his laptop in the passenger side of the car, the noise is super and i saw a WRX produce 317BHP and an evo VII hit 390BHP as there is a screen you can observe whilst the work is in progress. And a big thanks to you & Adz for looking after us and also for the numerous coffee's you bought us as we had no change :thumb: ATB Gaz |
Always good to hear a happy customer.
|
Not a problem Gaz always glad to help!
See you soon Ads:thumb: Ps What do you think of your roll bar? |
Gaz whats for dinner on a monday I forgot LOL........awesome guys up there........
Love the way that there are some right nobs on this site purging about the condition of the track that leads to a decent service or they apparently had a bad service (with the most likely outcome they got a clapped out scooby)...........Sort it out fellas |
