8 or 9'' rims on a classic?

Just finished a day at the hill climb, and in short, I need more rubber!

Hs anyone succesfully run 8 or 9 inch wide rims on a classic, preferably with Brembo's?

I do wonder if its possible!

All help appreciated.

i do but i have a wide arch kit fitted i run 18x9 et 35
