2002 STi OEM Tyres?

Anyone know what the OE tyres on the Bug Eye STi's were??

Really? I didn't think those were around at the time. Pretty hairy in the wet.... OE fit on Mazda RX8's. Most owners change to the RE050's

RE040's didin't arrive until a couple of years later. AFAIK the bugeye came with Bridgestone Potenza RE92.........It's a long time since my bugeye had OEM tyres though LOL

Just checked..........I'm wrong (at least for the jap models). Jap STi bug did indeed launch with RE040 rubber. I don't remember seeing them on UK cars when I bought my bug new in 2002 but my memory isn't what it used to be.

Yup, RE040s on the regular STIs and RE070s on the Type RA Spec C.
