Impreza engine dimensions

Tried searching for it but the key words just bring up to many threads.

I'm looking for the WxLxD of a turbo impreza engine from 1993-2000 for a project i'm looking into

Any help gratefully received :)

Also the distance from front turret to turret would be good ;)

astra_dave 22 April 2011 04:11 PM

suspension turrets just to be clear?

Coppen 22 April 2011 04:19 PM

Yes please, should have made myself clearer :)

astra_dave 22 April 2011 04:22 PM

front and rear?

Coppen 22 April 2011 04:35 PM

All would help, engine dimensions are the more crucial as need these before i even proceed any further.

I used to own a classic back in 07-08 and have missed it ever since i sold it and went down the NA 300zx route...now i want that sound back but in something completely different :)

What are you planning to put the engine in? Or are you just going to keep teasing us

that saves me getting out my tape measure. Funny you should mention dropping it into a mk3 Astra.

I was thinking last night of dropping the engine and running gear into a Mk4 Astra, just for the laugh.

Well i now know it will fit.

Turret to Turret Astra 104cm, Impreza 105cm
Engine Bay length Astra 70cm Impreza 85cm
" " width Astra 83cm Impreza 84-86cm

Just for a donor now.
