will an inlet manifold from a 97 sport fit a MY00 sport ?

Knew it ! Just saw a dirt cheap one on eBay for £30 so was going to use that as the polishing test but it is from a 97 sport so wanted to see if it fitted

Don't think so Swiss, IIRC the MY97 would be a phase 1 and you MY00 will be a phase 2 and I think there is a big difference in manifold design between the 2. Phase 1's were 115bhp and phase 2's were 125.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were different. As said they changed the engine between those dates although some parts were carried over.

Okay guys looks like as you say miles apart so I will have to just be patient until the right year comes free. Cheers anyway :)
