From the Evening Standard website.....
Tories are launching their transport pre-manifesto with the promise to give motorists back their freedom under the slogan Right to Drive. The document is expected to include pledges to steer clear of the congestion-charging and workplace car-park taxes contemplated by Labour. Other vote-wooing proposals expected to be included are reduced fuel taxes and 80mph speed limits on motorways At last some political common sense.... but is it too good to be true???? Dave P |
They could promiss anything and be quite safe in the knowledge that they won't get in this time. They simply don't have the presence of Labour... I bet that a vast number of people couldn't name their leader and even less could pick him out of a line up!!
A challenge for you: Name one tory policy? |
I think they've realised something that has completely eluded Tony's Cronies.
There are a hell of lot of seriously pissed off drivers out there who have been taxed to the hilt by this government, and we all have a vote. Quite frankly the damage this lot have done already is pretty bad. I don't know if the Country could survive another term. Josh |
Fight inflation with redundancies.
Reduce costs improve NHS etc. efficiency, keep the money saved for yourself and your chums to have bigger company cars and expense accounts. Sell things that don't belong to you to fill the coffers. |
