are all dog owners inconsiderate *******s?
I went for a walk on the Folkestone downs yesterday, some where which is supposed to be an amazing picnic spot looking out to sea but all the way to the top there was dog **** every where
I don't think I have yet met a dog owner that is not an inconsiderate *******, they either try to take them to town shopping (and then moan when shop owners ask them to leave) let there dog crap every where and don't clear it up or let there dog bark and upset all there neighbours or they let it loose in the park where you are supposed to keep it on a lead so it runs and bites litle kids. I had to visit a friend who lived in a council block and it seemed every flat "owner" had a great big German Shepherd? are all dog owners mental? |
No.

It's lucky if you step in it.

There is a lot of inconsiderate owners and I hate nothing more than having to avoid the mess created by the owners of those dogs, but my dog rarely barks and only does so if either I wind it up or there's someone coming to the door late at night, I never expect to take it into shops and either my wife, kids or I always clean up after it. My wife has even used a tissue when she has realised that she had run out of poo bags. Don't tar us all with the same brush, but instead find the inconsiderate ones and challenge them for being so selfish and disrespectful:thumb: |
There are a lot. The most stupid, arrogant and inconsiderate dog owners are the ones who bag up the ****e then hang it on a branch or just leave it bagged by the side of a country track. Obviously plenty of responsible owners too.

:lol1::lol1::lol1: |
There not all irresponsible but there are plenty that are.I dont have a problem with dogs as i have one,but on Saturday we went to our local national trust beach where the walk to it was scattered in s***.Worse still some of the dog owner thought it was a good idea to hang bags of crap on a fence 1/4 of a mile from a designated bin where you have to park
|
just no.
|
The worst thing about these idiots who bag up their dog sh*t and hang it in a tree or whatever is that if they actually just left it where it lay within a few weeks nature would have dealt with it. In the bag it'll stay there for years
I often venture out for a stroll at lunch from work. There's an old railway track from the estate that has been gravelled for bikes / walkers, the amount of dog sh*t by the side of that is just gross. I like dogs and would like to have one or two of my own one day. Would always pick up their mess though if it's in a frequently used public place (can't quite see the need if you're on some remote moorland somewhere). |
There are good and bad dog owners, some clean up some dont, but,
our local lake borders seem to have more than its fair share of human **** from the fisherman in the bushes. What of the two is worse ? |
are all dog owners inconsiderate *******s? Like cat owners; Some are twats. Case closed.....NEXT! ;) |
NO!
|
no not all of us i dont like people who cant control them so let them go for dogs that are on leads they really are asking for a good slap:mad::mad:

The dog owner who keeps their dog on the lead signifies an owner that has never bothered to train and socialise their dog? If they had they too would be able to trust their dog off the lead.

To quite frank, that is Bollocks. I always walk my dog on lead when on public footpaths or the park rules dictate. Its not that he can't behave without one; he can. But I do it out of common courtesy. Even so, in alot of public areas and walkways there is a sign saying "dogs must be kept on leads", so its mandatory. I've lost count of how many dogs that are not on leads in areas where they should be - as they are either in breach of local rules or their dog does not repond to recall commands (and therefore is not under control). Its usually the same ones where the owner 'happens' to 'not notice' it taking a dump as it's rummaging around 50yards away. |
My jack russels which are supposedly very difficult to train are under my absolute control.
The only reason they go on a lead is so as not to make humans feel uncomfortable. After years of training i trust them !00% around any animal man woman or child. Even if a rabbit runs out in front of them the only thing they do is look at me to see if i will let them get it, which some times i do and others i don't depending on the situation and location. It is possible to train a dog to a very high standard it just takes a lot of time. |

This perception, usually by people who have dogs, that you can't have a dog under control if its not on a lead is rubbish.
Just because they don't know how or would rather sit in front of the tv with a can of beer does not mean it's not possible. If you pay attention to your dog and spend the time and the effort to learn the techniques then you get the results. |

Depends where you live, we don't have "dogs must be kept on a lead" areas, and as I said, my dog is trained, is socialised and does recall. If dogs are well trained they will recall.
That's 99% at the most then! |

are all dog owners mental? The same could be said about Impreza owners! just because SOME act like twats, it doesn't mean we are ALL twats. Dont tar everyone with the same brush fella !! However, all Impreza owners probably are slightly mental lol. Andy |

Dogs are social animals by nature, well socialised dogs never get the hump when another dog comes over to say hello. My dog does not need a lead, we only use ours when she is in season or needs to visit the vets, other than that she is well within my control.
